Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur has released the Bihar B.Ed 6th Round Allotment 2026 for CET-B.Ed. & Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.) 2026. Candidates participating in the counselling process can check their college allotment through the official CET-B.Ed. candidate login.

The sixth-round college allotment is available from 14 August 2026. Candidates allotted a seat in this round must complete the online Seat Confirmation Fee payment within the notified period and then report to the allotted college for paper verification and admission.

Important deadline: Candidates allotted a college in the sixth round should not wait until the final day. Complete the seat-confirmation payment and download the allotment letter before reporting to the concerned college.

Seat Confirmation Fee: The counselling schedule uses a ₹3,000 non-refundable part/seat-confirmation fee for allotted candidates. This amount is part of the counselling/admission process and should not be confused with the earlier CET application fee.

College fee is not the same everywhere: The official CET-B.Ed. college list shows different two-year and admission-time fee amounts for different institutions. Check your allotted college's official fee entry before making any additional college payment.

How to Download 6th Round Allotment Letter

1. Open the official Bihar CET-B.Ed. 2026 website.

2. Click the Allotment Letter / Candidate Login option.

3. Enter your registered login ID / email and password.

4. Complete the captcha/verification step.

5. Open the counselling/allotment section.

6. Check the college allotted in the sixth round.

7. Download the College Allotment Letter.

8. Pay the ₹3,000 Seat Confirmation Fee within the notified period.

9. Save the payment receipt and allotment letter.

Seat Confirmation Fee – ₹3,000

• 6th Round payment window: 14–17 August 2026.

• The counselling rules state that fees once paid are non-refundable.

• Save the online payment receipt.

• The ₹3,000 payment is not the complete B.Ed. course fee.

• The remaining/admission fee depends on the allotted college.

Paper Verification & Admission – 17 to 18 August

After confirming the seat online, allotted candidates must report to the concerned college/institution for document verification and admission from 17 August to 18 August 2026.

Do not miss physical reporting: Online payment alone does not complete college admission.

Important Counselling Rules

• Counselling registration was mandatory for qualified candidates seeking admission.

• Initial counselling required at least 3 college choices.

• Candidates could initially select up to 10 colleges across one or more universities.

• The initial preference submission was ordinarily one-time; BRABU later opened a special 28–30 July editing/fresh-registration window for specified unregistered or not-admitted candidates.

• Reservation rosters are applied according to Bihar Government rules.

• In minority colleges, 50% seats are reserved for the respective minority community.

• Fees once paid are non-refundable under the counselling guidelines.

College Fee – Check Before Admission

The official CET-B.Ed. portal publishes a college-wise fee list. Fees vary among government, constituent, private and minority institutions. Match the college code/name on your allotment letter with the official fee PDF before making any additional payment.

Eligibility – Reference

For the two-year B.Ed. programme, candidates generally needed at least 50% marks in a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) and/or Master's Degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities or Commerce. Engineering/Technology candidates with specialization in Science and Mathematics required at least 55% marks. Shiksha Shastri applicants had to satisfy the prescribed Sanskrit-based eligibility in the official prospectus.
