BPSC TRE 4.0 Recruitment 2026 – 32,388 Teacher Posts, Apply from 1 September
Bihar Public Service Commission has released the detailed notification for School Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4.0) under Advertisement No. 14/2026. The current recruitment contains 32,388 teacher vacancies for Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary schools under Bihar's Education Department.
Application status: Online application and fee payment begin on 1 September 2026. Fee payment closes on 29 September 2026 and the final online application deadline is 30 September 2026.
Vacancy correction: An older BPSC examination calendar showed 46,595 vacancies for TRE-4. The current detailed Advertisement 14/2026 has 32,388 vacancies, which is the figure candidates should use now.
Exam-date correction: The older BPSC calendar showed 22–27 September 2026, but the current application itself runs until 30 September and the detailed notification does not give a final examination date. Therefore, 22–27 September should not be treated as the current confirmed exam schedule. Wait for a revised BPSC exam notice.
Fee correction: The current detailed notification prescribes a ₹100 examination fee. If a candidate applies for more than one eligible teacher class/category, the fee applies separately for each applicable class/category. An additional ₹200 biometric fee applies only when Aadhaar is not provided as identity proof in the online application.
