GIMS Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 100 Posts

The Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida has invited online applications for GIMS Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026. The recruitment is being conducted through a Computer-Based Test under Advertisement No. GIMS/2026/Manpower/NT-03/10 for a total of 100 Staff Nurse posts.

Educational Qualification

Option 1 – B.Sc Nursing

  • B.Sc Nursing – 4-year course from an Indian Nursing Council / State Medical Faculty recognised institute or university; or

  • Post Basic B.Sc Nursing – 2-year course from an Indian Nursing Council recognised institute/university; and

  • Registration as Nurse & Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.

Option 2 – GNM Diploma

  • Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council recognised institute, board or council;

  • Registration as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council; and

  • 2 years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the GNM qualification.

GNM candidates: The two-year hospital experience is an essential condition. The notification specifically requires the experience after the prescribed GNM qualification.

Selection Process

  1. Computer-Based Test: Candidates appear in the objective nursing examination.
