KVS NVS Tier-II Result 2026 Out – Phase 1 Result, Interview & Skill Test Update
The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the phase-wise declaration of KVS NVS Tier-II Result 2026 under Recruitment Notification No. 01/2025. The recruitment covers teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).
The first phase of the Tier-II result was declared on 17 August 2026. At present, results are available for PGT (Computer Science), TGT (Computer Science), Finance Officer and Stenographer Grade-I. Results for the remaining posts are still being finalised and will be released in phases.
Current status: Phase 1 Tier-II Result – Released on 17 August 2026 | Remaining Posts – Result awaited / to be released phase-wise.
Important correction: Do not publish that the Tier-II result for all KVS/NVS teaching and non-teaching posts is already out. CBSE has officially started only the phase-wise declaration. The 17 August release covers four post groups only.
Vacancy correction: The original notification carried 14,967 vacancies. Corrigendum-3 revised several KVS vacancies upward by 795 posts, taking the revised recruitment strength to 15,762 vacancies. Therefore, an article still showing 14,967 as the current total is outdated.
Next stage: Candidates shortlisted in PGT (Computer Science), TGT (Computer Science) and Finance Officer will receive Interview Call Letters after the interview schedule is finalised. Shortlisted Stenographer Grade-I candidates will receive a Skill Test Call Letter.

Preference is submitted through the candidate login when applicable.
Under the recruitment notification, post/organisation allocation is based on merit and submitted choice.
A candidate appearing for more than one post can ultimately be allotted only one post according to merit and valid preference.
Candidates who fail to submit required preference within the notified period may not be considered for allotment.
The notification states that no waiting list will be maintained.
Remaining Posts – Result Not Yet Declared in Phase 1
The 17 August notice does not declare Tier-II result for every remaining PGT, TGT, PRT, Principal, Vice-Principal and administrative/non-teaching post.
CBSE has stated that the remaining results are being finalised and will be declared in phases over the next few days. Candidates should therefore check official updates instead of relying on social-media claims that all results are available.
