RSSB Forester Result 2026 Out – Cut Off, Scrutiny Form & PET/PST Update

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has released the RSSB Forester Result 2026 for Forester (Vanpal) Direct Recruitment under Advertisement No. 01/2026. The recruitment is being conducted for 259 posts in the Rajasthan Forest Department.

The written examination was conducted on 28 June 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The result and category-wise cut-off were released on 14 August 2026. Candidates shortlisted for the next stage must now follow the Scrutiny Form and physical-test instructions issued by RSSB.

Scrutiny Form 2026 – What Shortlisted Candidates Must Do

The result notice provides an online Detailed Application-cum-Scrutiny Form window from 17 August to 31 August 2026 for the specified shortlisted candidates proceeding toward the physical standards and efficiency stage.

1. Open the Rajasthan State Recruitment Portal / SSO login.

2. Log in with your registered SSO credentials.

3. Open the Forester Direct Recruitment 2026 entry.

4. Check whether the Detailed Application-cum-Scrutiny Form option is available for your candidature.

5. Verify personal, educational, category and CET details.

6. Upload the documents requested by the portal.

7. Submit the form within 17–31 August 2026.

6. Enter your roll number exactly.

612 Candidates Disqualified – Five-Option OMR Rule

The result notice states that 612 candidates were declared ineligible because they did not darken any option/bubble in more than 10% of the questions.

The marks calculation in the result notice also reflects the RSSB OMR scheme in which:

• Correct responses receive the applicable positive marks.

• Wrong responses attract a one-third penalty.

• A question left completely without darkening the prescribed response/non-attempt option is also treated under the Board's OMR penalty rule.

• Leaving more than 10% of questions without any bubble darkened leads to disqualification.

• The result notice states that no question was deleted in this result calculation.

Eligibility – Recruitment Reference

• Education: Senior Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board.

• Language/Culture: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture.

• CET: Candidates had to be qualified in CET (Senior Secondary Level) 2024 for this recruitment.

• Age: 18–40 years as on 1 January 2027, with applicable relaxation under Rajasthan rules.

OTR Fee – Historical Reference

Fee clarification: ₹600/₹400 is the Rajasthan One Time Registration fee. A candidate who had already paid the applicable OTR fee did not need to repeatedly pay it for every recruitment.

Physical Stage – What Comes Next?

Candidates shortlisted through the written result will proceed toward physical measurement / efficiency testing and document scrutiny according to RSSB and Forest Department instructions.

• Male endurance walk: 25 km within 4 hours.

• Female endurance walk: 16 km within 4 hours.

• Base physical standards include prescribed height and chest measurements.

• Category-specific physical relaxation, where applicable, should be checked from the detailed RSSB/Forest Department recruitment rules.

• PET/PST is qualifying in nature; written merit alone does not guarantee final appointment.
