SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 – Junior Associate Online Form Started

The State Bank of India has released the official notification for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. The recruitment has been notified under Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17.

Online registration started on 11 August 2026 and will remain open until 31 August 2026. The official vacancy table lists 7,680 regular vacancies along with separate backlog vacancy columns. The Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled for September 2026 and the Main Examination for November 2026.

Application live: New registration, application editing and online fee payment are available from 11 August to 31 August 2026. The application-print facility remains available until 15 September 2026.

Important correction: There is no interview in the official SBI Junior Associate selection process. Selection consists of Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and the specified Local Language Proficiency Test where applicable.

Vacancy-count clarification: SBI's table prints 7,680 regular vacancies. It separately lists backlog columns of 287 SC/ST/OBC vacancies, 355 PwBD backlog entries and 1,444 XS/DXS backlog entries. The source page's “9,124 posts” is not printed by SBI as a single official total, so this article keeps the official breakup transparent instead of presenting that number as an SBI headline figure.

For Bihar candidates: Bihar is not listed in the regular vacancy table of Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17. Applicants can apply only for a State/UT listed in the notification and must satisfy its local-language requirement.
